The International Summer Workshops on Contemporary Dance in Novosibirsk Academgorodok were held in July - August from 1990 to 2004 year. All practical and theoretical courses were delivered by visiting teachers from the USA and Europe.

The Summer Workshops were an unique opportunity for dancers of Siberia and Far East of Russia become familar with contemporary dance and for many of them this become determinative in their lives.
Andrey Cheshev play a major part in organization of Summer Workshops. He was its permanent director and also dancer, teacher and just remarkable person, and his untimely death was sad blow to all us.

Unfortunately we cannot hold The Summer Workshops on Contemporary Dance in Novosibirsk Academgorodok within the next few years but we don't exclude that in future this will be possible again.
