The aim of the conference is to involve students, graduate students and young scientists
in the solution of the topical problems of modern science.
Both theoretical or experimental results can be presented in the reports.
In 2008 the conference will be held from April 26 till April 30.
Conference scientific program consists of the following sections:
- Mathematics. Subsections: algebra; mathematical logic and applications,differential equations; geometry and topology; theory of functions; calculus and functional analysis; hydrodynamics; mechanics of continuum; theoretical cybernetics; probability theory; numerical integration; computational mathematics; mathematical modeling; mathematical economics; mathematical biology.
- Physics. Subsections: radiophysics; automation of scientific research and computer graphics; physical and technical information; cryophysics, physics of phase transitions and magnetism; plasma physics; elementary particle physics and physics of accelerators; aerophysics, physics of nonequilibrium processes; quantum optics; physics of semiconductors and dielectrics; chemical physics; biological and medical physics, physical analysis of functional materials and nanosystems.
- Chemistry. Subsections: catalysis and adsorption, organic chemistry, biochemistry and chemistry of natural compounds, chemistry of solids, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry.
- Molecular design and environmental technologies. Subsections: supramolecular chemistry and environmental technologies, molecular design of biologically active substances.
- Biology. Subsections: animal and human physiology, ecology, molecular biology and biochemistry, cytology and genetics, bioinformatics.
- Geology. Subsections: paleontology and stratigraphy, petrography, mineralogy, geophysics, general and regional geology, geology of combustible mineral resources, geomechanics and mining.
- Information Technologies (IT). Subsections: computer graphics, animation, multimedia, hypermedia, virtual surrounding; network technologies; GIS technologies; corporate information systems; data protection and information security; distributed data processing; corporate information systems; IT in teaching; information management systems; technological and applied IT systems; artificial intelligence; architecture of parallel computing; application of scientific results in IT systems.
- Economics. Subsections: general theory of economics; problems of analysis and modeling of regional development; imitational modeling and informatics; industrial management systems; finances and banking; economical sociology; business and management; regional and cluster economics.
- History. Subsections: ancient and medieval culture; history of XIX-XX centuries; Russian history from X to early XIX centuries; Russian history from late XIX to early XX centuries; social, economical and demographical problems of Russia in XX century; problems of history of Russian social development; history of Soviet culture and ideology.
- Archeology of Eurasia. Subsections: archeology of the Stone Age; archeology of the Bronze and early Iron Ages; archeology of the Middle Ages.
- Ethnography. Subsections: people of Eurasia; Russian and Slavonic inhabitants of Siberia; modern ethnic processes in Eurasia.
- Oriental studies. Subsections: history; mythology and philology, philosophy and culture; economics; geopolitics and law.
- Philosophy. Subsections: history of philosophy; philosophy and modern science; problems of philosophical anthropology; traditions and novelties in spiritual culture; principles and forms of social interactions; philosophy and education.
- Global problems and principles of sustainable development. Subsections: social communications and sociocultural bases of sustainable development: problems and technologies; globalistics and geopolitics: regions in the world integration; modern ecological problems and environmental activities.
- Philology. Subsections: the old Russian literature and study of early texts; Russian literature of the XIX c.; Russian literature of the XX c.
- Linguistics. Subsections: history of the Russian language and linguistics of textual study; lexical semantics; linguistic typology; linguistics of style; problems of modern syntax.
- Foreign languages: linguistics and intercultural communication. Subsections: the history of language; theoretical grammar; phonetics; lexicology; phraseology; semantics; stylistics; theory and practice of translation; intercultural communication.
Subject of research – any foreign language. Section working languages: English (preferable) or Russian.
- Journalism. Subsections: the history of journalism; modern mass media.
- Psychology. Subsections: personal psychology: theoretical and applied aspects; clinical psychology; psychological consulting and collective aspects.
- Medicine. Subsections: clinical medicine; molecular medicine; pharmacology.
- Management. Subsections: topical aspects of national projects realization; topical aspects of local governments; governmental control over economics; IT in federal and regional administration; youth policy; management psychology; Russian and foreign experience of federal and regional administration; theory and practice of management and marketing; human resource management; financial and insurance management.
- 22.State and law. Subsections: civil and economic law in Russia; constitutional, municipal and administrative law; theory and history of state and law; criminal law and process; employment, housing and business law.
In 2008 a contest will be held organized by the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises “Ó.Ì.Í.È.Ê.” (The Participant of the Youth Scientific Innovation Contest). Depending on the novelty of the projects, candidates will be selected from the participants. The candidates will get a sponsorship of the introduced innovation projects (namely 200 000 roubles a year during two years). You can find additional information on http://www.fasie.ru/.
The participants of ISSC who want to apply their work on the “Ó.Ì.Í.È.Ê.” contest should fill in an application form and send an essay according to his/her scientific work. The rules of the contest and application procedure you can find on the web page of ISSC.
ACCOMODATION
Sections 1–20: the participants from other cities are provided with places at one of the camps at the Ob Sea (Novosibirsk reservoir). The estimated living expenses will be 400–450 roubles per day/person (breakfast included). Organizing committee will provide transporting (free of charge) from the camp to the University.
Sections 21–22: the participants from other towns are provided with places to live in the dormitories of SAPA.

TO TAKE PART IN THE CONFERENCE YOU SHOULD:
1. Fill in the application form on the web page
http://www.nsu.ru/conf/issc till March 1.
2. Attach to the online form the theses of the report, satisfying the requirements published on the web page.
Theses should be composed and formatted according to the template published on the web page of the conference. (Microsoft Word or compatible formats for all sections expect Section 1, LaTeX format for Section 1)
Working languages of the conference are Russian and English (by agreement with the scientific committee of the subsection).
After March 1, 2008 online application form will be closed for applying and editing of the theses and application forms.
From March 1 till March 14 the Scientific Committee is performing the selection of received theses for publication and inclusion into scientific program. The participants are informed about the selection results on the 14-15 of March via e-mail address given in the application form.

The scientific committee has a right to decline and prohibit the publication of the thesis that:
1) does not fit in sections of the conference; 2) does not contain any scientific information; 3)transcends the conference scientific program; 4) is prepared with a violation of rules of registration; 5) is received after March 1, 2008.
The right to present a speech is given only to the authors with theses selected by the Scientific Committee and included in the conference publications. Such authors will receive an invitation to the participation in the conference (but only after paying the conference fee).
Each section publishes its own book of proceedings.
According to the results of presentations, the best works of students participating will be awarded with conference diplomas. For the works of the graduate students and young scientists, the contest won’t be held.
According to the decision of the Scientific Committee, the authors of the best works — students, graduate students and young scientists — will have the right of publication of the full-sized article. This information you can find in the 2nd Circular Letter in February 2008.
CONFERENCE FEE
The author who receives the message from the Scientific Committee concerning the admission of their scientific paper for publishing should pay a conference fee till March 27. Otherwise, Organizing Committee will have to exclude their scientific paper from the conference program and proceedings.
The conference fee is 300 roubles (10 euros).
The details will be presented on the conference web page and in the 2nd Circular Letter.
Accommodation Fee isn’t included in the Conference Fee and should be paid separately when arriving to the conference.
