Accomodation
The Novosibirsk State University provides different types of housing for foreign
students: homestay in a Russian family, student’s dormitory, 3-room appartments.
For short-term periods of stay only acomodation in the dormitories is available
at prices of approximately 5-7 USD per night.
Homestay:
The family provides for a student a separate room, bed linen, a free access to the rifer, bath
or shower. The family can also do laundry for the student upon a separate
agrement. Breakfast and dinner can be provided also upon request.
Block-type dormitory:
A block consists of one big room (for single or double stay) and one small room
(for single stay) with a shower and toilet room. Kitchen and laundry are
normally used by 6 blocks. A long distance call can be done at the reception
desk.
3-room apartments:
The apartments are furnished, have three rooms, sharing a bathroom, a toilet and
a kitchen. The rooms are: two big rooms (for single or double stay) and one
small room (for single stay). The kitchen is eqiupped with everything necessary
for cooking. Every appartment has a washing machine.
