Department of Foreign Languages (DFL)
DFL was established in 1999, expanded from the “English philology” section of DH NSU.
The Centre for Continuous Education in the DFL offers advanced training for FL teachers,
internship, preparation for TOEFL, and courses in foreign languages);
DFL also offers Postgraduate Education.
Fields of training
:
linguistics and intercultural communication (theory and methods of teaching of foreign languages,
theoretical and applied interpretation, theoretical and applied intercultural communication),
Russian as a foreign language. Tuition is required.

Department of Psychology (DPs)
DPs was organized in 1999 from the Scientific-Study Center for Psychology of NSU.
Fields of training

clinical psychology and psychological consulting, organizational psychology,
social psychology, child psychology and developmental psychology.
The program includes the humanities, social-economical, mathematical,
natural sciences and professional special psychological subjects.
Tuition is required, every year 30 students are enrolled,
6 of which are on governmental scholarships.

DMS was established in 2003, expanded from the “Medical Science” section of DNS NSU.
The curriculum of DNS corresponds all the requarements, set up by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health
of Russian Federation. The department academic body includes 29 doctors of science, 20 professors and 39 tutors, holding the degree
of candidate of science.
