The head of the University.
Vice-Rector for Education
The principal function of the Vice-Rector for Education is managing the educational
activity of the educational departments, University chairs, and the preparatory
courses. Vice-Rector for Education supervises: educational departments, University
chairs in terms of education activities; educational-methodical office; learned secretary
service; the registrar office, archives, library, preparatory courses, the department
for technical means in education.
Vice-Rector for Research
The principal function of the Vice-Rector for Research is managing the research activity
at NSU at the departments; specialised Research Department; University chairs,
post-graduate studies (both for aspirants and doctorants); co-ordinating research
activities with the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, institutes of
higher education, and other organisations and institutions. Vice-Rector for Research
supervises: the University departments and chairs in terms of the scientific activity;
educational-scientific tutorials and field expeditions.
Vice-Rector for Economic Activity
The principal function of the Vice-Rector for Economic activity is managing the economic
and social services of the University chairs, providing productive and economic activity
of the University. Vice-Rector for Economic activity supervises: The chief mechanical
engineer section, the chief power engineer section, Sanitary engineering section,
Standardisation and metrology section, Industrial practice workshops, Operational-technical
section, Major repairs sector, garage, Procurement section, Social section, Security
department, Refectories, Student's hostels, Clinic, Health Center.
Vice-Rector for Finance
The principal function of the Vice-Rector for Finance is managing financial activity of NSU,
co-operation in this field with the legislative and executive authorities. Vice-Rector for
Finance supervises: All the departments in terms of the economical activity; managing the
business accounting and the financial control; budget managing.
Vice-Rector for Overhaul and Construction
The principal function of the Vice-Rector for Overhaul and Construction is preparing and
putting into practice the complex of NSU construction works. Vice-Rector for Overhaul and
Construction supervises: The major overhaul and construction section.
