Chair of Mathematical Methods for Economics and Planning
The chair of Mathematical Methods for Economics and Planning of the Department of Economics of NSU was founded in 1965. The first Head of the chair was Doctor of Economics, and now member of RAS Professor Alexandr Grigoryevich Granberg. He led the chair from 1965 to 1991. Doctor of Economics, Professor Gagik Mkrtichevich Mkrtchyan is being the head of the chair since 1992. There are 41 staff members working at the chair including one corresponding member of RAS, four Doctors and twenty-three Candidates of Science.
