Chair of Ore Deposit Geology
The chair was created as a result of reorganization of the chair of Mineral Deposits.
The purpose of its establishment was preparing highly qualified specialists in fundamental and applied areas of ore deposit geology and the theory of ore and mineral formation. The preparation of specialists in ore deposit geology is determined by the increasing needs of gold, silver, platinum, copper and aluminum mining both in Russia and abroad.
The chair graduates are in demand in academic research institutes, geological exploration and production companies.
