Chair of General and Russian Linguistics
The students and postgraduates of the chair are majoring in Russian language (lexicology and lexicography, lexical semantics, phraseology, derivational morphology, Russian dialectology, contrastive-comparative linguistics, linguistic typology).
Since its foundation, about four hundred students have graduate from the chair. About forty of them have received a Candidate degree and seven graduates have become Doctors of Sciences.
