The chair provides general fundamental training in Organic Chemistry for chemistry and biology students of the Department of Natural Science, students of the Department of Medicine, as well as those majoring in Geology and Geochemistry of Combustible Minerals of the Department of Geology and Geophysics. The chair also provides in-depth training for senior students majoring in “Organic Chemistry” (nine specialized courses are offered including a unique practical course). The chair also carries out Master’s and Postgraduate training in Organic Chemistry.

The training at the chair is performed by qualified specialists including 7 Doctors and 12 Candidates of Chemistry. Both full-time and part-time members of the chair are mostly graduates of Novosibirsk State University.
