The basic types and characteristics of wars in the World history are presented. The explanation of the origin (genesis) of war, the dynamics and tendencies of change of wars in world history is given. It is shown, that the essence of wars is intrinsic to the very human nature and the nature of communities as aspiring to success. Danger of wars will disappear only if aspiration of people to success is over, that is it will never disappear. War is generated be a peaceful life, first of all by peaceful success of people in achievement of their well-being and unplanned consequences of such success. As far as we are people, people who aspire to the best for ourselves, for our relatives, friends and co-citizens, a war is always nearby.
